If you've been feeling like there is something important going on these days, but can't quite put your finger on what it is, we thought we would take a moment to provide you with a few interesting facts.
It is believed that the Mayan Calendar is an "Evolutionary Timeline" that very specifically tracks the cycles and evolution of humanity. We aren't going to get into the detailed math of how it breaks down, but we will tell you that it is a timeline of 5,125 years of history called the "Long Count" that ranges from 3115 BC to October 28, 2011. Broken down into segments, time itself accelerates x20 at the interval marks.
2012 & the Mayan Calendar
The last big x20 speedup of time occurred in 1998/1999...which is why just about everyone you know keeps commenting about how time seems to be going by so fast it's noticeable now to even the non-metaphysicians. It feels like we are stuck on a carnival ride or inside a centrifuge, plastered against the wall as it spins at incredible speeds!
You may have noticed that the end date of the Mayan Calendar we note above is before 2012. This is because the sacred calendars on earth have an agreement that the year be counted as 360 days rather than 365 for this evolutionary timeline exercise. This includes the Dynastic Egyptians, the Mesoamericans such as the Mayans, Incans, etc., and the Vedic Culture of India. These cultures additionally used the 365 day calendar as a physical and agricultural one to plant crops, but not for marking sacred time.
In addition to the ancient cultures being in agreement, a miraculous thing has happened in just the last 50 years...the scientific community of astronomers and archeologists have also come into agreement with the metaphysical community findings. This is HUGE considering they rarely allow the acknowledgment of common ground. But recent scientific findings and archeological digs have given them the "proof" they require to jump on board.
Another area of factual alignment is the discovery in the arctic circle (due to melting), of a layer that provides proof of a cataclysm on earth around the time period of 11,500 BC. It is believed that this was caused by a supernova fragment from the Velas System hitting earth. Native American cultures call this the time when the earth almost died, and it brought an end to the advanced cultures that resided on the planet. It did, in fact, cause such trauma to humanity that it also has been suggested that this survival period was the cause of humanity's regression to violence and a distrust of nature. Today this is evident in the way we do not live or reside in harmony with the elements and earth, and our disrespect for life.
So why did it occur and what does the "end" of the ancient calendars mean? Turning our eyes away from disaster scenarios and toward the positive potential inherent in such a monumentally important time period, we also want to point out something amazing that occurred as a result of the Velas Supernova collision. After impact, the tectonic plates separated on the planet into a very specific (and scientifically agreed upon) number. Native Americans call the earth "Turtle Island" because it now matches the proportions of the pattern of the shell of a turtle. This also happens to have turned the earth into a perfect icosahedron in alignment with sacred geometry!
It should always be remembered that the earth has its own destiny and life plan, and perhaps it is time to both consciously recognize the past trauma as the cause of our mistrust, as well as allowing it to fade. It's very possible that the earth is actually finishing up with a "settling down" period from its own evolution. Rather than a disastrous outcome, a pole shift may be on the schedule to bring everything back into alignment after the impact left the earth tilting in 11,500BC. (Hint: the majority of other planets don't tilt).
And as for what the next 3-4 years brings, we encourage you to remember that your personal experience will be in alignment with your soul plan, and not entirely at the mercy of prevailing winds. We encourage more strongly than ever that attunement and alignment with Spirit and your own internal guidance link to your higher self be your number one priority now daily. The last 360 day segment on the Mayan Calendar that leads up to October 28, 2011 will initiate another x20 speed up of time! So if you think you can feel it now, wait until we hit that last cycle! We will have worked through the National and Planetary, and then be standing in what the Mayans call the final Galactic Underworld cycle. The previous time periods saw the world shift through nationalism to where we are now feeling like a planetary community. Advancements in communication delineate this very visually. In just the last 50 years we have gone from carrier postal mail to cell phones and computers! In this final segment it is suggested that we have the opportunity to advance to the point of again using our whole brain and more of our DNA in communication. It is also hoped that a turn may occur in a large percentage of the masses toward less violence and more eco-centered options for working in harmony with the planet. And being that this is a "galactic" period, perhaps the "quarantine" placed on earth might be lifted as well if we can achieve some of these goals.
